UFC 333’s two championship fights are officially set after Alexander Volkanovski, Movsar Evloev, Petr Yan and Merab Dvalishvili all made weight in Abu Dhabi. The biggest weigh-in concern involved Nicolle Caliari, who came in 4.5 pounds over the non-title limit for her fight against Iasmin Lucindo.
The official weigh-ins took place Friday ahead of Saturday’s UFC 333 event at Etihad Arena on Yas Island. The card features two major title fights, with Volkanovski defending his featherweight championship against undefeated contender Evloev in the main event.
Caliari weighed 120.5 pounds, exceeding the 116-pound allowance for a non-title strawweight bout. Her fight against Lucindo, who weighed 115 pounds, is set to proceed at catchweight, with Caliari forfeiting 30% of her purse to her opponent. The other fighters on the card successfully made weight.
Championship Fights Clear the Final Hurdle
Volkanovski stepped on the scale at 144.5 pounds, while Evloev weighed 145 pounds. Both were within the 145-pound limit for their featherweight championship contest.
The co-main event also passed without a weight issue. Bantamweight champion Petr Yan and challenger Merab Dvalishvili each registered 135 pounds for their trilogy fight, with Yan’s title on the line.
With all four title-fight participants making weight, both championship bouts are cleared to proceed as scheduled.
Nicolle Caliari’s Weight Miss Changes Undercard Bout
Caliari was the only fighter on the card to miss the required weight limit. Her 120.5-pound reading was 4.5 pounds above the permitted 116-pound limit for her non-title contest.
Lucindo successfully made weight at 115 pounds. The matchup will continue under catchweight terms, and Caliari will surrender 30% of her purse to Lucindo as a penalty.
The weight miss was the main complication from an otherwise successful weigh-in session, leaving the rest of the scheduled card intact.

Two Title Fights Headline UFC 333
The successful weigh-ins set the stage for a championship doubleheader. Volkanovski faces the undefeated Evloev in a featherweight matchup, while Yan and Dvalishvili meet for the third time in their bantamweight rivalry.
Caliari’s weight miss remains the card’s main weigh-in storyline, but the planned catchweight adjustment means her fight with Lucindo is still scheduled. Attention now turns to fight night, where both championship contests headline UFC’s return to Abu Dhabi.
